Cristina Passoni

Cristina Passoni is a Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Jefferies LLC, where she supports the firm's investment banking group. Prior to joining Jefferies, Ms. Passoni acted as in-house counsel at a start-up and as an associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. 

As a Teach For America alumni and a public school student herself, Cristina has strived to continually support public education. Cristina continued to volunteer in the classroom while acting as in-house counsel at the start-up. Additionally, as a lawyer, she has provided pro bono services to support various educational endeavors, including the creation of a non-profit offering after-school programs in Oakland. In addition, Cristina also volunteers as a mentor as part of UC Berkeley's Law Women's initiative. In joining the board, she sees a meaningful opportunity to further Spark* SF's mission to support students and faculty across SFUSD. 

Cristina holds a bachelor's degree from University of California, Berkeley, a masters degree in Urban Education and Leadership from Loyola Marymount University and a JD from New York University School of Law.
